IMI Cornelius Inc. warrants that all products and parts are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service as per original manufacturer’s warranty.
Terms & Conditions
Prices: All published prices are F.O.B. Cornelius. A tax imposed by any present or future federal state or local laws, if paid by us, will be charged to, and is the responsibility of, the purchaser. Title and risk of loss to products or parts pass to the purchaser upon delivery to the carrier.
Freight & Shipping Charges: Products are shipped F.O.B. shipping point with freight costs and handling fees paid by Cornelius and charged to the customer. Other terms and conditions may apply for freight collect, export orders, hazardous materials, special handling or shipments outside the contiguous United States. Any extra charges incurred for additional services, such as customer’s carrier or special handling by the carrier, may apply. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. If product is damaged in transit, customer must file claim with the carrier.
Terms: Terms of net thirty days from the date of invoice will be offered to those customers of known and acceptable financial standing.

Return Goods Policy & Procedures
Cornelius will not accept any returns without prior approval or consent, which will be given or withheld at Cornelius’ discretion.
A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) is required for all returns and can be easily obtained by calling the Customer Care number listed below. The product must be in new, unused condition, and in its original packaging, to be accepted.
To assist in making the process easy, please have the part number, the invoice number, and the reason for returning the equipment before calling for your RGA.
Shortages and Damages
At IMI Cornelius Inc., every effort is made to ensure that you receive an accurate and complete order and that it is received undamaged.
If a discrepancy in your order exists, please contact the Customer Care number listed below immediately and report the problem by referencing your order number and the discrepancy.
In the event of damage, shipment damage must be noted on the bill of lading or delivery receipt. Call Customer Care immediately to report the damage and to reorder product or parts if necessary. Cornelius Logistics will assist with the claims process if needed; digital photos may be required. See further instructions under “Freight Damage Claims”.
Freight Damage Claims
All obvious package damages must be signed for as damaged with the carrier at the time of receipt.
All shipping containers should be inspected for internal loss or damage, including: indentations, punctures, re-taping, open tops, or cartons marked “This Side Up” that are delivered laying on their side. The receiver and the carrier should make a joint inspection prior to acceptance of the shipment. Results should be noted on the delivery receipt.
Products and parts MUST be inspected for concealed damage within 15 days of receipt.
Contents of all shipments should be checked for concealed damage immediately after delivery. If concealed damage is noted, the delivering carrier should be notified promptly.
The tariff guidelines specify no more than 15 days should pass from the date of delivery to the date of when the damage report is made to the carrier. After the 15 day limit has passed, the liability of the carrier is greatly diminished or void.
If loss or damage is identified, a claim should be filed with the carrier immediately. Items required to file a claim may include:
1. Completed Loss or Damage Form (obtained from the carrier
2. Copy of original Cornelius invoice to validate selling price
3. Inspection Report
4. Copy of Carrier’s Delivery Receipt
5. Copy of Bill of Lading
6. Photographs of damage
Freight claims cannot be filed if any of the following apply:
1. Concealed Damage is reported outside of the 15 Days limit
2. Original Packaging is not available
3. Items have been reshipped from the original delivery point
